Unlike traditional laptops or tablets, AUTEUR intentionally lacks WiFi, Bluetooth, or any pre-installed apps beyond its core writing software. Its 6-inch E Ink screen provides a paper-like reading experience, while the mechanical keyboard offers tactile feedback for sustained typing sessions.

This device is strictly offline—no cloud syncing, no web browser, no app store. Files are saved on internal storage, with a microSD slot for transfer. The mechanical keyboard uses Cherry MX-style switches, offering a familiar feel for typing enthusiasts.

For writers, AUTEUR represents the ultimate digital tool for deep work. By removing every digital distraction, it forces the user to engage only with their text—a model that could improve productivity and reduce screen fatigue.
